Dr. Art Quintanilla is a board-certified physician who founded the Rancho Mirage practice now known as Desert Med Rejuvenation. He completed specialized training in medical aesthetics in Beverly Hills, CA and Scottsdale, AZ, and has dedicated his practice to direct patient care and personalized treatment plans that enhance and reveal natural beauty. He is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.

Education and Training — Dr. Quintanilla is board-certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and is also board-certified in his primary specialty. He completed his residency training at Maimonides Medical Center / SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, followed by fellowship training at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center / UCI Medical Center in Long Beach and Orange County, CA. He is a recipient of the Diploma from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association, and holds active medical licenses in California and Texas.

Dr. Quintanilla has served as Guest Faculty for the AAAM in Miami and Las Vegas, and as Assistant Trainer for the AAAM’s hands-on aesthetic injectables course for physicians in Los Angeles.

Philosophy — Dr. Quintanilla believes that although most aesthetic services are elective, they improve quality of life by promoting psychological well-being and social engagement — and that patients should welcome them as catalysts for the self-confidence that raises everyday life to a higher standard. His focus is on inclusive, ethical care and treatment plans designed around each individual patient.

Skills and Specialties — Dr. Quintanilla has specific training in the administration of Botox® and all neurotoxin injections, Juvederm® and Restylane® dermal fillers, VI Peel® chemical peels, PRP and PRF facial and hair restoration, Eclipse® MicroPen microneedling and HydraFacial®.
